Quite possibly the most famous painting in the world, Leonardo Da Vinci's "Mona Lisa". I recreated this masterpiece for an "Art Crimes" show. The goal was to reproduce a famous work of art, and commit some kind of crime against it. Deface it or reproduce a forgery of it. I pushed the realism to match the original but did not go to the max, leaving the hands unfinished.
